A fair exchange
Serendipity. What a silly word. But so great in concept! I've just started teaching singing to a lady from my new church, and it turns out she's a professional figure skating instructor! I've always wanted to learn to skate properly, in fact, that was one of the things I wanted to "achieve" this year. We're talking about doing a lesson swap - I teach her to sing, and she teaches me to skate... triple lutzes, here I come! Hehe

Woe is me
Alas, my nasal passages and throat are painfully congested. Feeling okay though, despite the outward symptoms. Almost managing to convince myself! There's no chance of taking time off work, as I have a huge week and a day-long music conference to prepare for on Saturday so I'll just have to power through.

In other, celebratory news, last Sunday was my 3 month Anniversary at my new job and new church. Yay for me!

Luna Park
My colleagues and I are making a day trip to the historic Luna Park tomorrow for our quarterly Mental Health Day. Not being a rides person, I am contemplating getting an unlimited pass ($35) which means I have to go on more than 6 rides to make it worth my while. 6 rides in 6 hours. Yippee (not)! Then again, I'm likely to spend all my time in the games area, which I don't think it covered by the unlimited rides pass. Oh the pain, the pain of making decisions.
