Scrubs

I just unexpectedly started crying. In the middle of an episode of Scrubs.

Scrubs!!! (Ep4.08)

I love that show, but I was expecting funny (tick), great acting (tick), snappy dialogue (tick), visual humour (tick) - instead I got all of the above, plus poignancy and heart tugging to boot.

I like crying. It's kinda cathartic. Sometimes, I feel like a bit of a cry so I pull out one of my "guaranteed to use up half a box of tissues" movies. Works every time.

Sun, surf and sand

For those who've been following my hair sagas, here's my attempt at the "beachy" look as demonstrated here. Yay for instructional videos and GHD stylers.

Edited Jun 2, 2007 to add:
Here's another attempt (a couple of weeks after the initial haircut - I made it slightly curlier!)

Wash, Cut and Blowdry

Yup, I did it. Cut my hair and bought my first GHD styler. What else I could I do after so many glowing recommendations!? I went for about 3 inches off the front, but the back is still long (and feathery). Lots of wispy layers. And a fringe! I'm still a bit undecided about the fringe thing, but I'm leaning towards the "yeah, I like it" side of the fence at the moment. Here's some fresh from the salon shots.

Haircuts

I'm long overdue for a haircut. We're talking 6 months at least. Woops! Anyways, I've set aside some time tomorrow to go so I was surfing and youtube-ing to get some inspiration (of course). Curls? Layers? The Big Chop? Small Trim? Help!

This looks fun though - might just go for choppy layers, with a bit of a long fringe, then buy myself a curling iron!
