Does it matter?

Materialism is the philosophical view that the only thing that can truly be said to 'exist' is matter (or so Wikipedia says).

I've been thinking about whether or not I'm materialistic, in the often blanket way that Christians use the word. I suppose "placing importance on material things" would be an okay definition. My soul beats in time to Switchfoot's classic line "we want more than this world's got to offer" but I can't deny I enjoy the little fun things in life, like TV box sets *grin*.

Hmmm...
