RENT: Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes

Favourite song of the musical. Favourite song of the movie.

And the rest of the movie? Hmmm... there was the good and there was the bad... the character arcs and plot movement work better as a show I think, there just wasn't enough subtlety and continuity to make a cohesive film, but a good tribute to the stage phenomenon with a ton of the original, and very talented, Broadway actors. I didn't know Idina Menzel was married to Taye Diggs! There you go. Loved Jesse L. Martin as Collins. The boy can sing! (and dance!)
