Tradition
I hate traditions as a general rule. I think I've blogged about this before. Some are just so meaningless and overrated that those who them follow no longer even remember why they started in the first place. However, there's one tradition that I don't mind keeping (ever since high school), and that's when my school friends and I meet once a year, in December, for a Kris Kringle lunch. Sure, a couple of friends have dropped slowly away, but this year, we will managed to get the full 11 of us that are still in contact together (even though Di joined us via internet all the way from Vietnam!). How lovely. Lots of food, lots of catching up, lots of squealing and girly giggling and exchanging gifts. In keeping with my own personal tradition, I was one of the last to arrive (though not the last - wow!) and the first to leave, but still, we wouldn't want to break out of our moulds now, would we?
