Way out West
Just came back from my third work luncheon this week. I always have this deathly feeling in the pit of my stomach before these things – knowing that I’m expected to rub shoulders, sparkle knowledgably, consolidate clients and network, network, network. It’s been weird getting back “into the industry” after a year out of the game, so to speak. Still, today was the ASFA conference (400 or so attendees) and I had fun – bumping into old colleagues, getting to know current clients, chomping down on some yummy asparagus (don’t you love it when it’s cooked just right??).

Next week I’m off to Perth for a few days to run some presentations and training sessions. Remember how I love hotels? Yup, still do. Hehe.

Life is weird, y’know?
