Batman Begins

Awesome.

I loved: Christian Bale's anchoring characterisation of Bruce/Batman; Batman's humanity; the weapons mode in the Bat-mobile; Gary Oldman as a good guy; Liam Neeson as a bad guy; Batman's deadpan one-liners ("Nice coat"); the non hi-tech batcave; the former-government-experiments turned gadgets; Michael Caine bringing a small glimpse of sunshine and levity; the secret entrance to the bat cave (woo for all the music lovers); the interwoven plot that kept a step ahead of the audience; the story arc closure but franchise open-endedness

I will choose to ignore: Katie Holmes, the plot holes

Minor Batman Obsession re-forming.
